Pick one of three races and lead your kingdom into battle! Communications have broken down between the dwarves, elves, and humans. War is the only path, and if you are not careful, then your kingdom will be the next to be sacked.
Kings and Emperors is a grand real-time strategy game that focuses on building a kingdom from a handful of buildings to a bustling empire. The player will have total control over what the kingdom will do, build, and focus on. We have a lot of ideas on what we want to do, and methods to achieve said goals and aspirations. However, the big focus of K&E will be the multiplayer aspect. We want to bring back grand strategy to the PC, and pit player vs player.
Let us address the elephant in the room, we will not be doing cash shops or any way for the player to pay to get an advantage over the other. K&E will be a one-time buy, followed up with DLC that will go over single player campaigns. We will have a cosmetic shop that will give skins for player’s castles to give them some variety. Additionally, we have two ideas that will bring a much more focus to the alliance aspect of the game. We want war between alliances, and conflict. We hate seeing servers that just sit still and have no reason for alliances except to perpetuate a sense of fear on new players. Therefor, we want to change the online strategy market in innovative ways, and we plan on doing just that.
The world will take place in the Dra Universe, and some aspects of the game will run along side the comic. Our plan is to first focus on the single-player aspects before diving into multiplayer. We will start with single-player city building. The player will pick what race they wish to play as and start off with a handful of buildings. Each race will have their own style of buildings, their own unique units, and their own key benefits.
The different modes. What we want to have is a single player city building mode, single player grand campaign, single player campaign story, single player endless horde, multiplayer 2v2 and 4v4, and finally grand multiplayer server. This is extremely ambitious for a new company, but we will continue to work to achieve the goal.
Well, we have a lot of promises that we just made, and many more that we have not talked about. However, we will be focusing on our alpha launch above all else. We are currently focusing on humans and want to build them up to the point of being able to provide a solid foundation for what we want to achieve. From there we will move to the dwarves, and then the elves. Once all three races are ready to be played, we will move to bringing in combat, and move to working on a few different single player campaigns. We plan on launching during alpha at $40 and moving to $60 once we feel enough has been put into the game. Then we will keep working and adding much more to our game.
